In class: Today we began by completing lesson 3 and 4 in our Sentence Diagramming packets on compound subjects an verbs. From there, we recapped the Dead Poet Society video and where we saw elements of Classicism and Romanticism. Finally, students worked in pairs to paraphrase and discuss William Cullen Bryant's "To a Waterfowl" as an example of a Romantic poem.
